Types of adhesive ceilings: manufacturing and brief description
There are 2 types of adhesive ceilings that have their purpose. Each of them has its own characteristic features and advantages.
The most common species is a ceiling made of specially foam polystyrene foam. There are also extruded plates, the production of which is more complex, they have a maximum density, therefore, they are waterproof, unlike ceilings made of foamed polystyrene foam. Extruded slabs are suitable for those rooms where maximum humidity is present. How to determine them? Very easy! In extruded slabs, the front side is homogeneous and smooth, and their cut is similar to air porous chocolate. The slabs made of foamed polystyrene can be distinguished by granular structure.
