Purpose and design features of fire doors
Simple metal doors that Russians so often install are quite well protected from robbery. But, if a fire starts in the building, they are unlikely to help.
Any door leaf is based on a frame formed by a door frame and steel sheets that are attached to it. The door frame is made of rods of steel with a thickness of 3-4 millimeters. This is the thickest metal that goes to create a door.
There are 2 sides in the fire door – external and internal. The inner layer is the heat insulators necessary to make the door leaf not to ignite as long as possible, and so that the heat is not transmitted through the door. And on the outer side of the canvas there are fireproof paint and metal. Moreover, galvanized steel is usually used as a metal.
