The concept and characteristics of artificial fabrics
Artificial and mixed fabrics are a mixture of fibers of various artificial and natural threads (acetate, viscose, polyamide and polyester).
Acetate silk. This fabric is light and flowing, has some shine. Perfect for drapery, they are sewn from artificial silk blouses and dresses.
Acryl is a knitted canvas, thin and similar to natural Jersey. Acrylic fabric does not break down, but static enough. Used for sewing dresses.
Viscose has a soft structure. This warm fabric is made of cotton residues and cellulose. It perfectly passes the air and absorbs moisture, which means it is suitable for sewing various dresses, blouses, costumes and some types of female underwear.
